When we do an activity that we love, we can call this a hobby.
People have different kinds of hobbies that help them to relax and make them feel happy.
Let’s look closer at some of the characters from the story in the Minds On. You can also listen to an audio recording about each character.
“My name is Tiara, and I love to bake! I like making cookies and muffins and cakes with my family. I like to bake because it relaxes me.
It’s fun to measure all the ingredients, mix them in the bowl, and watch as they bake in the oven. Baking is my favourite hobby, and I do it all the time!”
