The Toad on the Road
One day, a toad went down the road.
The wind began to blow and it started to snow!
The snow was low on the road.
“Oh no, where will I go?” said the toad.
Then the toad saw a boat on the side of the road.
“I can hop off my big toe and go in the boat” said the toad.
There was no snow in the boat and it was warm!
In the boat the toad met a doe.
The doe and the toad sat in the boat until there was no more snow.
Then they went home.
“It is good to be home after the snow!” said the toad.
