Read the following story out loud:
The New Boots
It was a long day for Anaya.
The wind blew mud all over her and she found a hole in her best boots!
At home, she sat in her room and ate her food with her spoon.
She blew on the food to cool it down.
After it was cool, she had to chew and chew and chew.
She saw the moon come up and made a wish for a new pair of boots.
Then her sister came home.
She flew down to see her.
In the front room, her sister held some new boots! They were so cool!
Anaya was happy to have new boots with no hole in them!
“Tomorrow will be a good day for splashing through the woods!” said Anaya.
