Your turn!

We can pitch the ball and catch it on the edge of the mitt.

Use your acting voice to read the words in the following little play.

Try and change your voice each time you read it!

Person 1:	Do you want to play catch?
Person 2:	Can you pitch fast?
Person 1:	You stand by the edge of the hedge. I can pitch fast!
Person 2:	I can catch! I do not need a hedge.
Person 1:	Here comes my pitch!
Person 2:	It was fast! I did not catch it. I have to fetch it.
Person 1:	Be safe, the hedge will scratch you.
Person 2:	I got it out of the hedge!
Person 1:	Can you catch this one?
Person 2:	It was a fast pitch, but I got it!
Person 1:	You can catch as well as I can pitch. We are the best!
