Do you love great music? What do you do when your favourite song is played? Do you get the urge to sing along? Do your toes start tapping and does your body start to move?
Today we will move while we explore this dance video called I Love It.
During the video, when the music is playing, move your body in any way that feels great.
How did you feel when you were moving? Did you start to smile or laugh? Moving to music is so much fun!

Access this video entitled “Boredom Buster - Create a Dance” to learn more about different moves and steps that can help you create your own dance and then you are going to create your own moves.
Follow these steps to create dance routine and make sure you have FUN!
- Choose a song that is appropriate.
- Your dance routine must be at least 30 seconds in length and no longer than 1 minute.
- Try to put together at least 4 different dance moves to your song.
- You are allowed to repeat your 4 dance moves in a repeating pattern to meet the time limit.
- Practice, practice, practice!
- Your dance routine must be recorded using any method of your choice (such as writing your dance moves, drawing them, or recording).
- Be sure to have FUN!
