Safety scavenger hunt
Get to know your surroundings! You will be asked to locate several items around your learning space. It is important that before you begin, you visualize your space and plan the best possible route.
For your scavenger hunt, locate one item at a time and think about if there are safety risks with each item and how to use them safely.
Here are the objects you need to find:
- An object that makes a noise or light.
- An object that is round.
- An object that has wheels.
- An object that turns off and on.
- An object you can wear.
- An object that has sharp edges.

Safety everywhere

It’s important to be active every day, no matter how busy you are to stay healthy and strong. Physical activity doesn’t only take place in gymnasiums, it can happen in any setting with enough space to move safely.
Think of at least 3 different settings where physical activity can take place and brainstorm some safety risks and what you can do to avoid the risk.
Choose at least one setting that is indoor and one that is outdoor.
