Receiving

Receiving means catching, trapping, and collecting an object that is coming our way.

When we receive an object:

  • make sure that we focus on that object

Instructions:

  1. Pick your object.
  2. Sitting or standing, gently toss the object from one hand to the other.
  3. You can also toss the object in the air to receive it.
  4. Repeat this 5-10 times.

Remember you can take breaks.

Important Safety Tips:

  1. Be aware of your space.
  2. Be gentle.
  3. Be careful of other people.

Instructions:

  1. Pick your object.
  2. Gently send your object to the wall.
  3. Receive your object. Try and receive with two hands and then try with one hand.
  4. You can even try sending your object from different angles.

Tip: Position yourself closer to the wall so you have an easier chance of receiving your object.

  1. Pick your object.
  2. Sitting either on the floor or at a table, try rolling your object to the wall and receive it.
  3. Repeat this 5-10 times.

Remember you can take breaks.
