You may have encountered the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Photographs offer us a glimpse of events that have already taken place. They also present us with details that can give us information and tell different stories. Sounds can offer us the same experience. Examining important features of your identity
Photographs and sounds can offer a snapshot into a moment in time. They also have many other functions! As an example, they can be used as a form of artistic expression. What photographs or sound recordings could you use to show your classmates who you are?
Access the following fillable and printable Photo Series Graphic Organizer provided to help you explore the most important features of your identity. You can also complete the activity in your notebook or use a note-taking software of your choice to record your ideas.
Examine the following questions to help you gather ideas about the most important things that make you unique:

Photo/Sound Series
It's time to create your photo or sound series! Use the ideas you listed in the previous activity to guide the pictures you will take and arrange them in an online slideshow. If you are creating a sound series, use your notes to guide the sound clips that you will record. You may organize your sound collage using any digital sound editing software that you prefer.
Please note, if you are using photographs for this series, be sure to add a voice recording for every photograph that describes aspects of the image. For example, why is this photograph significant to your series? What does it share about you? You may also choose to include a short write-up in addition to a voice recording.

Presentations
When you complete your photo or sound series, you may share it with a partner or record your work in a video or audio clip. Your presentation reflects the important details of your unique identify.
