Sorting nouns and adjectives
Now, let’s explore this Wacky Word Songs video.
In the video, Zoey shared that an adjective is a word that describes a noun. A noun is a person, a place, or a thing. In Minds On, the words we used to describe were adjectives, and what they described were nouns.
Let’s sort nouns and adjectives. In this activity, move each word from the word bank into either the NOUN box or the ADJECTIVE box.

Choose an object, but don’t tell your partner what it is. Describe your object using as many adjectives as you can. Your partner will try to guess your object based on the adjectives you used. They can ask questions about your object, but you can only answer yes or no.
