Independent practice

Three students are buying swimming lessons:

• Student A is going to buy 18 swimming lessons for $250
• Student B is going to buy 12 lessons for $172
• Student C is going to buy 6 lessons for $98

Explore different ways (at least two) for each student to make their payment using bills and coins.

What is the fewest number of bills that Student C can use? Identify the bills used, and explain your answer.
