Sales receipt

Two items were bought: Dog food for $5 and a leash for $8. The total cost listed is $13. $20 was paid and the amount of change is $7.

Let’s make our own sales receipts. Choose an item or items purchased in a store and answer the following questions about the item(s):

  • What is the name of the store?
  • What is the price of your item or items from the store? (The price of both items must be more than $10 and less than $20).
  • If you paid $20 for this item or items, what is the amount of change that you would receive? Demonstrate two different ways you could receive your change.
