Activity – Which skip giant are you?

In our class, there are five different skip giants, they are called: 5s, 10s, 20s, 25s and 50s. Your job is to protect the homes based on the name of your skip giant.

For example, if you are the giant called “5’s,” you will need to protect every fifth house on the street. That means you are going to mark a “X” on the 5th, 10th, 15th … ….

All the giants are trying to get out of your town and get back to their own homes. Can you help them get home as soon as possible? The 2s giant is skip counting by 2 and will reach home at 22. The 5s giant is skip counting by 5 and will reach home at 55. The 10s giant is skip counting by 10 and will reach home at 110.
